Article II. EXCAVATIONS |
§ 46-43. Procedures and methods.
Any person or any agent, personnel, servant, contractor or subcontractor of any person making any cut or entry into any street or sidewalk within the confines of the city shall accomplish the cut or entry in strict compliance with the procedures and methods for the cutting and the restoration of city system roads, streets and sidewalks, to be promulgated by the director of public works, and as the same may now exist, or shall be hereafter amended by the director of public works. Any applicant for a permit to enter the streets of the city shall obtain such permit only after assenting to and agreeing to such procedures and methods and complying therewith in their entirety. The director of public works shall afford to each applicant for a permit to enter a street a copy of the then existing procedures and methods for cutting and restoration of streets and sidewalks at the time application for a permit is made and granted.
