§ 54-73. Same—Appeal from clerk.
Latest version.
A suspension of a certificate shall be in writing, and any aggrieved party shall have a right of appeal to the city council, which appeal shall be filed with the city clerk within ten days after the suspension. The city council shall give at least ten days' public notice of the hearing on such appeal, and the notice shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the city. The action of the city council shall be final.
