§ 52-438. Discontinuance of service.

Pursuant to the provisions of G.S. 160A-312 and this article, service shall be discontinued for willful disregard of this article and a reconnect fee may be imposed before restoration of service. In the event of continued gross noncompliance of this article, the removal of meter or connection of service at the water main will be deemed proper, service will be discontinued and all tap fees and deposits forfeited. Reconnection of service shall only be made when all amounts due to the city, including new tap fees and deposits, are paid in full to the city.
