§ 50-237. Prohibited for certain purposes.

  • No person shall stand or park a vehicle upon any street for the principal purpose of:

    (1)

    Displaying it for sale;

    (2)

    Washing, greasing or repairing such vehicle except repairs necessitated by an emergency;

    (3)

    Storage of the vehicle by garages, dealers or other persons when such storage is not incident to the bona fide use and operation of such automobiles or other vehicles; or

    (4)

    Storage of any detached trailer or van when the towing unit has been disconnected or for the purpose of transferring merchandise or freight from one vehicle to another, or the storage of any truck, trailer, van or other automobile or motor vehicle, whether a physical, permanent part of the towing unit or detachable therefrom.

    Nothing contained in this section shall be construed to prevent parking for purposes of foreclosure and judicial sales.
